Bellview Winery — Fioré Rosé — 2025 — Landisville, NJ
Price: $22; www.BellviewWinery.com

We came back to Bellview Winery’s selection when we heard about their new Fioré Rosé, released just this month. This rosé is a blend of Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, all grown in New Jersey.
This wine was a beautiful rosy pink in the bottle and smelled like crisp apples and sweet pears. It was very pleasant on the nose.

The slight zesty fizz on the tongue was surprisingly welcome and allowed to notice that this wine was not sweet, nor was it too dry. If there is a perfect middle in a rosé for a warm summer day, this was it.
Apple was the main flavor from this wine, though there was a hint of sea air. This rosé could dry on your lips and leave a sweet strawberry-like taste. But the apples you could taste in this wine were the good crispy apples, not like a flavorless mushy Red Delicious.

With a light and simple flavor profile, this would definitely be the rosé I’m bringing to a summer party and know it would be enjoyed.
Score: 8.5/10
